Icebergs are huge chuncks of ice that have broken off from glaciers and fallen into the ocean. Because they come from glaciers, icebergs are made up of freshwater, which is full of nutrients. as icebergs melt, the nutrients from the freshwater enter the ocean. These nutrients provide food for fish of all sizes, who come to feed around the iceberg. Holes in the iceberg provide places for fish to escape from predators, such as seabirds.                   While icebergs can help provide a great habitat for fish, they can make life difficult for other animals. For example, huge icebergs near Antartica sometimes block the path of penguins as they try t o migrate from one location to another in order to find food.

Dear Sylvia,
It has been a long time since we exchanged letters. In this letter I am giving you an exhilarating experience of my camping trip.
I, along with six school mates, went camping to Wanaka Kiwi in wanaka town, New Zealand. It was a seven-day trip. We went to Cromwell by train and after a day's stay left for Wanaka early in the morning by bus and reached there by evening. We camped out in the woods. The nights were mostly clear and we enjoyed the beauty of the moon, the stars and the sky. It was wonderful to see the night sky, as there was not an iota of pollution in the hill area. We also sat around the camp fire and told stories and jokes.
We went for long walks and also went trekking. The natural beauty of this place is really worth seeing There are pine trees all around Wanaka Kiwi and a small river flows, winding its way through the valleys and hills. As this place is very calm and quiet, we could very clearly hear the chirping of birds and movement of the water.

All human beings eat food and make use of the chemical energy in it, so do all other animals. Perhaps you wonder where all that chemical energy comes from. Why doesn’t the food all get used up?
The answer is that new food is being grown as fast as old food is used to. It is the green plants that form the new food. Animals either eat the plants or eat other animals that have eaten plants.
The green substance of plants is chlorophyll. Chlorophyll can absorb sunlight.  When it does so, it changes the energy of the sun into chemical energy. The chemical energy present in sunlight. Chlorophyll is used to combine dioxide in the air with water from the soil. Starch and other complicated compounds are formed. These are high in chemical energy obtained from the sunlit chlorophyll.
They make up the food on which mankind and all other animals live. In the process of forming this food, some oxygen atoms are left over. These are given off into the air by the plants. The whole process is called photosynthesis.

A flood is an overflow of water that submerges land which is usually dry. The European Union ( EU ) Floods Directive defines a flood as a covering by water of land not normally covered by water. In the sense of “ flowing water ”, the word may also be applied to the inflow of the tide. Flooding may occur as an overflow of water from water bodies, such as a river or lake, in which the water overtops or breaks levees, resulting in some of that water escaping its usual boundaries, or it may occur due to an accumulation of rainwater on saturated ground.
Floods can also occur in rivers when the flow rate exceeds the capacity of the river channel, particularly at bends or meanders in the waterway. Floods often cause damage to homes and business if they are in the natural flood plains of rivers. While riverside flood damage can be eliminated by moving away from rivers and other bodies of water, people have traditionally lived and worked by rivers because the land is usually flat and fertile and because rivers provide easy travel and access to commerce and industry.
